Eddie promised Howlin' Wolf that he would keep the tradition of blues alive. He's kept the torch burning on his watch and realized that in order to keep it burning he needed to pass it on to a younger generation. Eddie connected with the Fernando Jones Blues Camp for Kids held yearly in Chicago at Columbia College.
Upon arrived he found many young people eager to learn more about the blues. After witnessing the dedication and determination of the kids attending the camp, Eddie decided he would spend some of his time coaching and encouraging the next generation of musicians to continue down the road of learning more about the blues.
